Creating Editorial Fashion Photography: Editing Your Images in Lightroom
Hey there, my name is Nicki from Under A Palm Tree. I am a travelling photographer and videographer currently living in Thailand. I’ve spent the last 3 years exploring the world whilst working some amazing projects for fashion, travel and lifestyle clients. During my career I’ve been featured in Vogue Italia and Vanity Fair.
Together, we’re going to go through the basic tools you need to use in Lightroom to achieve an editorial fashion look for your photography. During this course, I will explain how to use the software as well as how this applies to real life projects.
This course is aimed at beginners with little or no experience with Lightroom. It will also be handy for photographers who want to experiment with creating images that are more eye-catching for the fashion market by adding that extra flair. When I first started shooting with models, I loved my images but wasn’t sure how or what tools to use to get the most from my work. Three years down the line, I’ve compiled my top tips and tricks into this course.
We’ll start right at the beginning working our way through step by step.
The topics we will cover are:
shooting in RAW
At the end of the course, there will be a project for you to complete. You’ll be creating your own fashion shoot with a friend, family member or even a stranger! After your shoot, you will edit the image on Lightroom and then send me the before and after. I will review and give you feedback on.
