In this Skillshare class,  you will be using your own ‘go to’ doodle style to tell a visual story and turn it into a finished illustration.

This class is for all skills levels but particularly for those who doodle while talking on the phone, on napkins in cafes or in meetings and classes. It may also help aspiring artists to identify their unique artistic styles.

I’ll take you through my workflow  of 4 steps to complete a story.

    • Pick a theme
    • Make a list of ideas,
    • Draw your icons,
    • Draw your filler doodles

There are extra demonstration videos at the end of the lessons so that you can see these steps a few more times.

Doodle stories are fun  but also a great personalised way to make gifts for friends or colleagues, record memories, to create surface designs for products using Print On Demand sites or to illustrate your own book or journal cover. Doodling can also help you to relax and calm a spaghetti mind after a busy day.
